The new survival horror is called Daymare 1994: Sandcastle, released in 2022.
It seems that Daymare: 1998 it went as well as it was enough to allow the guys at Invader Studios to work on his sequel, Daymare 1994: Sandcastle.
In Sandcastle the action always takes place in Idaho, but four years before Daymare: 1998, in what it is to all intents and purposes a prequel. The designated protagonist is Dalila Reyes, a former spy hired by the government division HADES (Hexacore Advanced Division for Extraction and Search) to investigate a research institute that has suddenly ceased contact with the outside world.

The series was born with the aim of paying homage to survival horror like Resident Evil and Dead Space, and does everything to "keep the promise of making us live an experience as close as possible to the Resident Evil of the 90s", with some flaws in the technical sector.
The game will present new features, including an updated interface, a revised inventory, new puzzles and new weapons such as the liquid nitrogen Frost Grip (probably the one that the protagonist extracts towards the end of the video). Daymare 1994: Sandcastle arrives on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC (Steam) in 2022.
