Diablo 3 Eternal Collection is a relatively simple game in its essence, but there are still plenty of tricks, tips and trivia that can make everyone's journey into the bowels of Hell much more fun: let's find out together!
- If you play a character from a distance, it can often happen that you click on the ground instead of the desired enemy, ending up charging him. To prevent this from happening and keep your character in place, simply hold down Shift while attacking.
- The dungeons will always have the same amount of floors to explore but with each turn the layout, treasures and locations of the same and healing shrines will change. The enemy line-up is also subject to constant variations, as well as the HP of its members, although they will always keep the same level.
- The sorcerer's main spell does not use any arcane powers, so it can be used without interruption. Beyond that, Warlocks have the highest mana regeneration rate of any other character.
- Holding down the Alt key when selecting a grounded object will compare two two-handed weapons, or two magic rings. If the screen of your helper (eg Templar) is open while you are about to collect the object, it will be possible to compare the object in question with the one equipped by our companion.
- Gray objects are worthless. The white ones are usable, but they don't have any enchantments. Yellow items are rare, and have higher base stats and more enchantments than blue items. Orange items are legendary, and are never randomly generated - they always have a unique name and specific properties. Green items are also legendary, but they are part of complete sets. Collecting an entire set of green gear grants you a special bonus.
- If you choose to use both hands to attack, you will have a 15% attack speed bonus.
- Followers never die. If defeated, they will kneel temporarily. In fact, after ten seconds, they will spontaneously return to fight. Each vital orb collected will help heal their followers.
- In co-op, gold and loot are unique. Those released by defeated enemies and open chests are only visible to those who spawned them. By picking up an object and dropping it to the ground, it will be visible to all.
- If you are not playing using voice chat, you can still communicate with other players. The numeric keypad allows you to select the desired option from a fair variety of stored phrases. Thanks, sorry, etc.
- You can equip your followers with weapons and armor, amulets and special items. Just press the F key to view their inventory and skills.
- If a party member dies playing co-op, just left click on them to bring them back to life. This will save him having to restart from the last checkpoint. Beware, however: if an enemy hits us while we try to help an ally the action will be interrupted and the process will have to be restarted.
- It is good to sell white / gray items to merchants, but not blue ones. These in fact are more useful if taken to a blacksmith and transformed into crafting material.
- After each dungeon, make sure you get your equipment repaired. Any merchant can do this, for a small amount of gold. It is possible to see the damage degree of each weapon from its statistics in the inventory.
- If you want to show an object to the rest of the party, click on the chat window, then click on the object while holding down the Shift key. The item will be "linked" and other players will be able to examine its statistics. This feature was imported from World of Warcraft.
- Recipes for legendary items are sometimes left on the ground by downed enemies or other sources. You must find these recipes and give them to an appropriate craftsman before you can create the items in question.
- Champion monsters are larger and stronger than normal monsters. They glow blue and work as a team. Rare monsters, on the other hand, emit a yellow glow and have unique names. They almost always drop great loot when killed. Common enemies have a bonus when they fight alongside these special monsters. Unique monsters appear at specific points in the story, sometimes randomly.
- Some enemies won't mind stunning you often, although these attacks are no more powerful than the common ones.
- There are also enemies able to block our movements with special barriers or even able to completely immobilize us: it is good to focus on them before finishing the rest.
- It is not necessary to click continuously to attack an enemy: just keep the pressure on the left mouse button to do this.
- Combat bonuses grant extra experience for certain actions: these include killing a certain number of enemies, quickly destroying a large amount of objects or surviving a battle with little life.
- It is not necessary to collect an item to see its statistics: just hold down the Ctrl key while selecting it with the mouse to see if it is worth collecting.
- Common enemies have a variable chance of dropping healing orbs (recovering 20% of their total health). Champion monsters have a 60% chance to drop these orbs for every 50% of life lost. Rare monsters, on the other hand, have a 100% chance to drop healing orbs for every 25% of life missing, so defeating one always ensures that you collect at least four orbs.
- If you are playing with a sorcerer, remember the usefulness of the Power Hungry passive ability. Each time an enemy releases a healing orb, it will also "heal" the arcane power for 30 points.
- All transactions in the Auction House are completely anonymous. Whether you are buying or selling, you will never be able to see someone else's name or BattleTag.
- Craftsmen only need to be upgraded once for all their characters: they will keep their level. Gold is also shared by the heroes, as are the items in their chest. It is possible to expand the size of your chest by paying gold, or alternatively by creating more characters to manage it with.
- Unlike loot, healing orbs released by enemies are visible to all players and even if collected alone one of them will also heal all other party members.
- You can find several books scattered around the play areas. Even if you're not interested in the game's story, it's still a good idea to collect these items - they grant extra experience.
- You can view the enemy life bar by pressing V, or the player's life by pressing D. Pressing Z will zoom in on your character, while Tab will summon the map. All these keys are customizable.
- It is not possible to save manually. Your progress is saved after completing quests or reaching checkpoints. Unfortunately, if the game server decides to kick you out of a game before the data saving has taken place, it will be necessary to repeat all the road already traveled up to a new checkpoint.
- Sometimes it is possible to use the environment to kill enemies: look for chandeliers, traps and fragile walls to bring down. When dropped on enemies, they will instantly kill them, granting a combat bonus. Don't worry, they can't hit you too.
We remind you that, with the necessary precautions in terms of usable keys, these same precautions aimed at finalizing your runs can in fact also be used for the Playstation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch versions.
