Codemasters has released a new Dirt 5 gameplay video that transports players to colder climates, providing a preview of the brand new events Ice breaker in Norway.
Minimum grip, maximum fun, Ice Breaker challenges players to dominate frozen circuits, with smooth turns and idyllic environments. Throttle control, precise drifting and momentum are the keys to mastering this brand new DIRT series experience.
Robert Karp, Development Director of DIRT 5 said;
“Variety is a key aspect of our approach to DIRT 5 and we wanted to introduce some new experiences to the DIRT series along with fan favorite ones. Ice Breaker is one of these new additions and offers a completely different gameplay feel. Players will have to find their own flow to get past the group.
Everything takes place in these beautiful winter environments, with dynamic weather cycles and potential blizzards. The lighting under the ice makes these events a real spectacle. "
DIRT 5 will be released on October 9 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, followed later this year by PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X.
