Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions are currently "cleaning up" Death Stranding. the famous dev recently shared a nice little development update on his Japanese and English Twitter accounts. He talked about how the Kojima Productions is currently handling the final touches of Death Stranding and how he is "filing his nails" for his next November release.

Kojima also said he was preparing a "next project". This is not particularly surprising, basically any developer never stops and always plans the steps forward they will have to take. When you create a game, you create an ever-changing process, and an idea that may have been discarded long ago can be successful at some point. It will almost certainly be a title that comes very close to the idea of "Film", as also stated by Kojima himself: one day games and movies will merge; and he wants to be a pioneer in this field. It is also preparing something big in relation to streaming and cloud gaming, so it could be related to that.
Finally, Kojima illustrated the Death Stranding program at the Tokyo Game Show 2019. It will be explained how the presentation of the game will take place overall on 12 September, while a "certain scene" will be revealed on 14 September. Finally, the 15th will feature a theatrical show with Hideo Kojima himself and the seiyuu (Japanese cast) of Death Stranding, as happened last year.
Hideo Kojima recently stated how Death Stranding's multiplayer will be similar to Spider-Man: into the Spider-Verse and also mentioned that Keanu Reeves paid him a visit recently.
Death Stranding will be launched on the market on November 8 on PS4.
