Our climb to the top of the NBA 2K20 power ranking continues undaunted. After the feast of “longs” present in the previous ranking (positions 80-71) once again we are faced with a decade of athletes mainly engaged in the fight “under the planks”. There are, however, some "little ones" with crystalline talent and supersonic speed. Let's find out together, however. The championship NBA (or rather, NBA 2K20) is now among us, at least on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC!
- 70 - Spencer Dinwiddie - PG (Brooklin Nets), 82
That Dinwiddie will never win the most altruistic player award around, we all agree. What we must admit, however, is that the Californian, now in his fifth NBA season, has finally found a dimension within the League after a lot of apprenticeship. Yes, he does not have such a strong altruistic instinct, but he knows how to split the opponent's defenses in two like few others. This year he will be Irving's deputy. Do you expect dark times? Not necessarily!
- 69 - Paul Millsap - PF (Denver Nuggets), 82
Paul Millsap is one of those eternal players, both physically and in performance. The Louisiana native has now reached his thirteenth NBA season and continues, despite everything, to be one of the most valid and granite elements of the stars and stripes championship. In Denver he acts as the glue for an all in all young and strenuous team, as well as a "master" for the monstrous Jokic. Hats off.
- 68 - Myles Turner - C (Indiana Pacers), 82
Myles Turner is the symbol of a generation of multipurpose athletes with boundless talent. Arrived amid a thousand skepticisms, due to a too thin physique and a not exactly friendly character, the titular center of Pacers has slowly established himself as one of the most skilled players under the iron, as well as an excellent shooter, even from the outside. He has extended his game in a sensational way and is proving it even at the World Cup. Stubborn!
- 67 - Marcus Smart - SG (Boston Celtics), 82
Speaking of talent that is still unexpressed and difficult to manage, it is impossible not to mention Marcus Smart, guard / playmaker of the Boston Celtics, expected this year to make a big leap in quality. Irving left, but Kemba Walker arrived; there is however a Rozier in less and, therefore, potentially more space and minutes for the number 36 Texan. Will he be able to exploit them?
- 66 - Marc Gasol - C (Toronto Raptors), 82
Agree, Marc Gasol is perhaps no longer the dominant center of the League, but still remains one of the best players around. The Spanish center is certainly one of the most reliable and versatile in that role, and has played a fundamental part in the triumph of Raptors last season. Without Leonard, a different season awaits him (and a little throughout Toronto), but we cannot but praise the spirit of sacrifice and application that he has always brought with him.
- 65 - Jaren Jackson Jr. - PF (memphis Grizzlies), 82
The nineteen year old giant of 211 cm became the protagonist of a debut with a bang, which earned him the inclusion in the ideal quintet of last season. The son of art is now called to confirm the good things shown last year, but it won't be easy at all. Memphis is a work in progress, and expressing oneself at best will not be easy for anyone.
- 64 - Deandre Ayton - C (Phoenix Suns), 82
His first NBA season was all in all positive. The Bahamian center, first absolute choice in the last Draft of 2018, has shown all his numbers, placing himself among the best rookies of the season, also included in the ideal quintet in the freshmen. He did not win the “Rookie of the Year” because he was preceded by a monster like Luka Doncic, but he has already made many things clear. This year, at just 19, he is already called to star in one of the least ambitious teams in the League. Will he be able to make the leap in quality?
- 63 - Kevin Love - PF (Cleveland Cavaliers), 83
Kevin Love is now firmly out of the loop of NBA superstars. Since LeBron left, then, he has not been able to take by the hand a team like the Knights in which, in the end, the rookie Sexton, clearly more leader and driver of the blonde from LA, made a big voice. He turned down a move to the Lakers, and remains as one of the League's most wasted talents. But be careful: under the basket he is always a rebounder and leaving him free from three points is not a good idea ...
- 62 - Montrezl Harrell - PF (Los Angeles Clippers), 83
Since he joined the Clippers he became a totally different player. The cure" Rivers it has certainly benefited the body and especially the mind of a talented player yes, but with many limits of a purely psychological nature. This year, however, with the arrival of the monstrous duo composed of George and Leonard it may have less space than usual. He will succeed a season for over 16 points and 6 rebounds per game to guarantee him continuity on the pitch?
- 61 - Marvin Bagley III - PF (Sacramento Kings), 83
The second-year long, also included in last season's ideal rookie quintet, is one of those players who are very complicated to evaluate and manage. Talent and physical skills are not lacking, but dedication is a different matter. If he manages to feel important, in the vacuum of Sacramento, he can really make a bang. He doesn't lack anything and he's only twenty years old… Time and talent are on his side, but pay attention to your head!
