For a few days you can download on Nintendo Switch a new indie with a Nordic flavor entitled Northern lights.
It quietly landed on Steam in 2019 and is now joining the sample of a console that has married indie developers, the Switch. Here is the official presentation:
Nordlicht is an adventure game in which you will accompany an unusual family on a fascinating journey to the cold North. You'll control the curious Aurora, Peter Parsley (her guinea pig and best friend who follows her everywhere) and her clever dad Rupert. During the journey they will discover the mysterious constellations of the polar night sky and will have to face both the dangers created by mother nature and their own fears.
Sometimes you will use the objects, even combining them, that you find, using the mouse in the usual point-and-click manner. Other times you will have to test your dexterity and reflexes in dealing with icebergs, gigantic waves and storms in the middle of the sea aboard the small boat. With intuitive controls, immersive soundtrack and adorable hand-drawn graphics, Nordlicht will be an unforgettable experience that will entertain all ages.

The little game is developed by illius - two German students - after a development period of around 3 years. A demo can also be downloaded on the itch.io page. Northern lights it is also available in Spanish and the PEGI 3 makes it suitable for children as well.
