As the official blog says, PlayStation Plus starts 2021 with a bang thanks to the free titles of January and that will make PlayStation 4 users happy with two important titles such as Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Greedfall while on PlayStation 5 it will also be possible to get Maneater.
We believe Shadow of the Tomb Raider needs no introduction, it is the last chapter of the modern saga starring Lara Croft, developed by Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montréal and released by Square Enix in 2018.
Greedfall is instead an appreciated action RPG developed by Spiders and released by Focus Home Interactive in 2019 and of which we report the summary of our review:
GreedFall is a mixture of art, fantasy and love in a single sentimental work, able to kidnap the player for over 40 hours of gameplay excluding the various secondary missions. If we note some flaw in the graphics sector of the game, we cannot but admire the will and strength of the development team in creating this mammoth videogame adventure. The customization of the characters, the design of the creatures and the game setting will lead us to turn a blind eye to the small defects that affix the game, leading us to appreciate other aspects and mechanics of the work in question.
We conclude the PlayStation Plus triptych of free games with Maneater (if you have recently purchased the title it seems you can request a refund) downloadable by PlayStation 5 owners. It puts the player in the shoes of a shark and for once we can play the fearsome predator of the sea with truly spectacular and catastrophic implications, as indicated also in our review.
Finally, we inform you that the free PlayStation Plus titles of January 2021 will be available from January 5th to February 1st.
