The Pokémon Sword and Shield DLC, The Snowy Lands of the Crown, has finally arrived and, along with it, the Pokédex has expanded with many new Pokémon to collect and capture.
Among these, there is certainly the Galar form of Slowking. This new shape differs from traditional Slowking not only in appearance, but also in type. If the former was a Water / Psychic type, the latter has a double Poison / Psychic type. Certainly an interesting combination also on the competitive side.
But how to get this new Pokémon? Read on and you will find out.
First of all, you must have already captured a Galar Slowpoke. The Pokémon had already been made available at the release of the game's first DLC. After that you will have to look for 15 Galarnoce branches inside the Corona Rift, through the bright spots scattered around the map. Once this is done, go to the Frosty Sea area. Crossing the sea, you will have to turn left where a cave will be visible. Go inside and you will find an NPC who will be happy to exchange your Galarnoce branches for a Galarnoce Crown.
Assign the new item to your Galar Slowpoke and the Pokémon will evolve into the new Galar Slowking.
