Years after the release of Tales of Vesperia on Xbox 360, one of the funniest chapters in the Tales Of series returns in a new graphic and complete with all DLCs. The purpose of this guide is to give a general overview of the various side quests or side quests of Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition, in order to provide the main directives on how to deal with them and the instructions to carry them out.
We will list the missions in order of appearance, so the first listed will have to be addressed in the opening bars of the title, ergo they will be much easier to complete.
Before starting, here are some small tips on how to best deal with the missions:
- Never sell your weapons, always keep them all.
- When you have to face monsters, especially the tough ones, make a good supply of magic lenses.
- Always face the Giant Monsters within their respective quests and never outside of them
The Chronicler of Wonders
Location: Imperial Capital, Zaphias
To start it go to the Royal Quarters, go interact with the talking wall. This will be the first of three quests.
The Gigantos
Location: World Map, just outside of Zaphias.
You will find a Giant Monster, don't fight it and avoid any clash with it. Head south of Zaphias first to meet travelers at the Adventure King Inn. Alternatively, you could also find them at Deidon Hold. After interacting with the travelers, you will be able to face the Giant Monster and the final boss.
Duke
Location: Deidon Hold
Interact with Duke, you will learn a lot about his intentions. The exact place to interact with Duke can be reached by heading to Chevaliers Station and northeast of Deidon Hold. You'll find Duke on the battlements. This mission will be mandatory to enter the Palazzo del Magistrato of Capua Nor.
The Book of Monsters
Place: Bosco Quoi
Some monsters in the game appear randomly and can be fought very few times, if not just once. Head to Bosco Quoi and look for Karol. You will get the Book of Monsters: this object will be essential to fight rare monsters and start other missions.
Collector's Book Part 1
Place: Aspia
With Rita in the party, go to the second floor of her house to find the Collector's Book.
Brionac Part 1
Location: Aspia
This mission must be completed before getting possession of the Golden Hom. After passing the Shaikos Ruins, with Rita in the party, look for a Blastia, at Rita's house, and call her Victoria.
Under the tree Part 1
Location: Ehmead Hill
With Repede and Karol in the party, go to Halure and talk to the elder near the tree.
The Tomb of Elucifer Part 1
Location: Ehmead Hill
Interact with the small tombstone on the cliff, then head to Halure and talk to the couple you will find there.
Destroyer of Blastia
Location: Ehmead Hill
Continuing the previous mission, head towards the Blastia on the main road and then call it Ekaterine.
Game of dice
Location: Capua Nor
In order for Rita to become the New Dice Master, you will have to defeat the Dice Game Master. In the first part you will get a Gel Set, in the second you will acquire a Bottle Set and in the third the Super Gel Set.
Dark Reinforcement Part 1
Location: Capua Torim
Sleep at the inn after completing the events of Capua Torim.
