Ryzen 4000 processors based on ZEN3 may be announced later this year, however there has been a change: the series was supposed to be released based on an optimized manufacturing of 7nm +, but things are moving fast and, apparently, the whole process it has moved towards 5nm +.
It looks like AMD has decided to move its next desktop processors into the line Ryzen 4000 on an improved 5nm manufacturing process instead of a 7nm process. Processors will appear in late 2020 or early 2021.
The fourth generation of Ryzen CPUs is based on a technology Zen-2 optimized which should start in September. The processors, codenamed Vermeer, will be an evolution of Matisse which is mostly an optimized manufacturing process from 7nm to 7nm + and now it is called 5nm +. AMD itself has already stated that the ZEN3 processor would see an increase inIPC of 15%.
Despite the insistence of rumors, we invite you to wait for official releases.
