Intel does not appear to have plans to hand over the leadership in mobile performance to AMD and its processor Ryzen 9 4900HS, in fact, it is preparing its new flagship mobile CPU, the Core i9-10980HK. Based on silicon "Comet Lake-H"14nm, this chip packs an 8-core / 16-thread CPU with a maximum boost speed (also known as"Thermal Velocity Boost") of 5,30 GHz, maintaining a power target of 45 W TDP. This performance level should place the product between the Core i7-9700K desktop and Core i9-9900K, both with TDP rated at 95 W. It would seem that the chip could work in game use at a frequency very close to that of the i9, thanks to its 300 MHz of increase frequency.
Intel is expected to launch the processors Core i9 H series of tenth generation on 2th April, around the same time that nvidia will release its mobile series GeForce RTX 20 Super.
