Zalman reported that it has achieved global availability of the a double tower CNPS20X, an air cooling solution designed to dissipate up to 300 W of heat from the CPU. The Zalman CNPS20X features many heat transfer technologies, including RDTH (Reverse Direct Touch Heatpipe), an evolution of the now widespread technology DTH (Direct Touch Heatpipe) applied to its six heat pipes, along with IHD (Interactive Heatpipe Transfer Design) to increase thermal performance (Zalman says the latter technology brings improvements in heat dissipation on the order of 20x).
However, not only the design of the heatpipe was touched; the company also used what it calls a "flap design"corrugated 4D“, Which means that the fins have outlines honeycomb which improve heat dissipation and air flow. There is also a series of fins built in copper, which are located near the center of the airflow to further improve heat dissipation.
Here, too, impeller technology is used Dual Blade by Zalman, which according to the company concentrates the airflow instead of dispersing it along the external channels. The company claims to have applied a bio-mimetic design principle to its fans, inspired by the legs of spiders, in order to achieve reduced vibrations and noise (in addition to the usual gains in the use of fluid dynamic bearings). CNPS20X It also features RGB lighting compatible with Razer Chroma.
The CNPS20X is available at a price of approx 90 €.
