Respawn Entertainment shared the brand new trailer for Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond, putting the spotlight on the “Gallery”Of the game: a series of interviews with veterans who survived the Second World War that help players, as they progress through the single player campaign, to contextualize the place and time of war.
The iconic Gallery feature featured in the first edition of the video game was created to celebrate real-world heroes and their stories; Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond leverages VR technology to show these powerful moments of War through an immersive experience.
Respawn is bringing Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond back to the roots of the franchise and the Gallery will immerse players in even more authentic and realistic details, who will be able to relive war history through an incredible interactive fun experience.
The Gallery presents moving interviews, stories told by veterans directly from the European locations where they were more than 75 years ago and immersive 360 ° VR movies depicting the key locations of the Second World War.
The Gallery includes an engaging and powerful collection of short documentaries directed by Anthony Giacchino where the protagonists are the veterans of the Second World War. COLETTE, a cinematic short film, centered on a French resistance fighter and created especially for the game, won the Best Short Documentary award at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival at the beginning of the year.
Each of these powerful moments was captured using cutting-edge technology in order to preserve the stories for future generations.
