The arrival of the PlayStation 5 console is near, but there has been an update regarding the launch order. The news was told by Sid Shuman, on the official PlayStation blog.
"Hello everybody. The PlayStation 5 console is coming! It will be available on November 19th. In order to comply with the security protocols for the COVID-19 emergency and safeguard players, retailers and the personnel involved, we want to confirm that on the day of the launch (November 19) purchases will be available only through the online stores of our partner retailers. No units will be available for purchase in stores on launch day November 19th, so please don't camp out and queue in front of stores on release day in hopes of finding a PS5 console to buy. "
The post continues regarding the online order: “Stay safe at home and place your orders online. Anyone who has made a pre-order with collection in the store should still be able to proceed in this way, but only by appointment, in compliance with the security protocols in force.
