We all know what WhatsApp is. WhatsApp is the uncrowned king in the messaging category. If you are talking about me (and almost 99%) of smartphone users, we use WhatsApp as a daily communication and messaging application on our devices.
WhatsApp has improved over the years, the company has also changed ownership as it was bought by social media giant Facebook in 2014. However, this has affected the usability and productivity of the application and WhatsApp is still the best messaging app. .
I am a WhatsApp user since its inception, I used this application for the first time on my Sony Xperia Mini smartphone. A few months ago, it was announced that WhatsApp will have a new feature, which allows the user to know if and how many times any of our messages have been forwarded.
This feature now lets you know how many times your messages have been forwarded on Whatsapp. This is a great feature that allows the company and the user to prevent fake messages from reaching a huge number of users. Furthermore, this also allows the user to understand if the message is fake or trustworthy.

How to know how many times your message has been forwarded on WhatsApp?
This feature is already available with the WhatsApp beta update and if you have already signed up for the beta program of the app on the Google Play Store, you may already have it on your phone. Below, we will show you how you can check the number of times your messages have been forwarded on WhatsApp using this feature.
To use this feature, make sure you have installed the latest beta version of WhatsApp from the Play Store. Now open the application and look for the message that you think may have been forwarded multiple times. You can very often find this type of message (most of the time) in group chats.
Now, to check the number of times it has been forwarded, just press and hold your finger on the target message. You will see a menu appear at the top of the screen. This menu has several options but, to use this function, you need to click on the three-dot icon at the far right of the menu screen.
Also, you'll see two options under that button again, one of which is info… you need to select that option. A new window will open and you will be able to see all the information related to that message.
You can check the status of the message and whether the message has been delivered and read. However, at the bottom, you can see information about the number of times this message has been forwarded.
This feature, as already mentioned in the previous paragraphs, is only available in the beta version of the app. Another important feature of this new feature is that you can check any message on your WhatsApp. This functionality is planned for all users in the next stable version of the application.
