The worst night of your life, on loop.
What would you do if you were trapped in a time loop during which you see your life shattering? This question is the idea behind 12 Minutes: very interesting indie signed by director Luis Antonio who, after the announcement of E3 2019, it returned to show with a new trailer during the Tribeca Games Spotlight.
The gameplay and the interviews shown in the more than 5 minutes of video go to shed more light on the unfolding of this 12-minute loop., during which a policeman will swoop into a couple's home accusing his wife of murder and thus turning a normal family evening into a tragedy. After watching his wife die, the protagonist will wake up each time at the beginning of the evening thus being forced to relive the scene indefinitely and looking for a way to change the course of events.
As explained in the trailer, the particular camera from above is a device of the director to give the player the possibility to have the whole playing area under an eye. This has resulted in not being able to see the protagonists directly in the face, thus leaving all the drama of the events to the prerogative of the dubbing performed for the occasion by real celebrities; we are talking about James McAvoy, Daisy Ridley and Willem Dafoe.
It is not known when 12 Minutes will be released, but it is known for sure that it will arrive exclusively on Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and Steam.
