Bad news for all who were hoping to have some succulent information about a hypothetical Halo Wars 3.
343 Industries, certainly one of the excellences in the software house first party kit owned by Microsoft, underlined through his community manager John Junyszek how, at the moment, there is no plan that leads to the realization of the third chapter of the tactical spin-off on the prosopopoeia of Master Chief. There is also no hope for additional content intended to enrich the gaming experience dictated by Halo Wars 2.
343 Industries has no plans to work further on Halo Wars 2, including updates, patches to balance the experience, bring the game to new platforms, and [is not hard at work] on a new episode of the series. We will continue to monitor the game and make sure everything is working as expected.
This message obviously doesn't rule out the possibility that Halo Wars 3 may become a reality in the future. At the moment we remember that 343 Industries is heavily focused on the development of Halo Infinite and on support for Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
