With the advent of the month of August on our island of Animal Crossing: New Horizons for Nintendo Switch there are many new fish to catch. This time the additions are not many, but they will allow the inhabitants of the various islands around the world to take a few steps towards the completion of their collection. Let's see together what are the new fish of this month.
Northern hemisphere
Here are the new fish for August with location, size of the underwater shadow, times when you can catch them and selling price at Nook's shop:
- Apalone ferox: in rivers, with large shade, every day from 16 to 9, it can be sold for 3750 bells.
- Moray: at sea, with subtle shade, all day long, it can sell for 2000 bells.
- Race: in the sea, with very large shade, from 4 to 21, it can be sold for 3000 stars.
The following fish, on the other hand, must be caught by the end of August on Animal Crossing New Horizons, at the end of which they will no longer be present in our islands:
- Killifish: in the ponds, with tiny shade, all day long, it can be sold for 300 bells.
- Frog: in the ponds, with little shade, all day long, it can be sold for 120 stars.
- Snake fish: in the ponds, with large shade, from 9 to 16, it can be sold for 5500 bells.
- Napoleon fish: in the sea, with very large shade, from 4 to 21, it can be sold for 10000 bells.
- Squid: at sea, with medium shade, all day, it can be sold for 500 stars.
Southern hemisphere
In case you have chosen an island in the southern hemisphere, you will have no new fish this month, while you will have until the 31st to catch:
- Pingo: in rivers, with little shade, all day long, it can be sold for 500 stars.
- Puffer fish: in the sea, with medium shade, from 21 pm to 4 am, it can be sold for 5000 stars.
