AOC, the display specialist, announces the launch of five new Full HD monitors: three curved models (C27G2ZU, C27G2ZE and C32G2ZE) and two flat models (24G2ZU, 24G2ZE) that are sure to be appreciated by competitive gamers.
The new monitors range in size from 23,8 "(60,4cm) and 27" (68,6cm) up to 31,5 "(80cm) and offer breathtaking technical specifications: 240Hz refresh rate and MPRT from only 0,5 ms (1 ms for the 31,5 ″ version) they create an incredibly “connected” atmosphere to the game and its world. All models are also equipped with FreeSync Premium with LFC (Low Framerate Compensation) support, which offers smooth gameplay images without interruptions.
As e-sports gradually reach a mainstream audience, more and more players are also approaching competitive-level equipment. The 144Hz refresh rate has become standard in the PC gaming scene for a few years already and 240Hz and higher monitors are starting to be more and more common, even in laptops.
AOC's new 27 "and 31,5" curved competition gaming monitors - the C27G2ZU, C27G2ZE and C32G2ZE models - feature VA panels, which offer wide 178/178 ° viewing angles, incredibly high contrast (3000: 1) and a wide color gamut (120% sRGB, 89% AdobeRGB and 85% NTSC). The 23,8 ″ variants - therefore the 24G2ZU and 24G2ZE models - are equipped with TN panels, which guarantee maximum reactivity without visual distortions. AMD FreeSync Premium support also eliminates interruptions thanks to its variable refresh rate (VRR) capability.
All the monitors above are not only usable in demanding situations like competitive games, but are suitable for any genre of games. Their wide chromatic range and vivid colors, combined with very fast reaction times, make any action extremely engaging, whether RPG, FPS, TPS or racing.
AOC offers two variants for the 23,8 "and 27" models. The “essential” version, ie the ZE 24G2ZE, C27G2ZE and C32G2ZE models, is the cheapest and no-nonsense version for users who are mainly interested in the panel and its technical specifications. The displays have a tilt stand for basic ergonomic adjustments. They can also be attached to a VESA mount (such as a monitor arm such as AOC AS110D0) for added flexibility. Their better-equipped siblings, the ZU 24G2ZU and C27G2ZU models, have the same starting specs, but come with a stand that offers more adjustment options, including height, integrated 2x2W speakers, and a 3.2-port USB 4 hub for users. who want a complete package for their battle stations.
All models feature an attractive borderless 3-sided design, perfect for any type of desk, and even more immersive multi-monitor setups. Low Blue Light mode and Flicker-Free technology alleviate player concerns about their eye health in long tournaments. The HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 sockets, audio input and output offer a variety of connections.
The C27G2ZU model will be available from May 2020 at the recommended price of € 339 and the C27G2ZE will be available from June 2020 at the price of € 319. The 24G2ZE, 24G2ZU and C32G2ZE models will be available from July 2020 at the recommended price of € 309, € 329 and € 379 respectively.
