ASUS, a well-known electronics and components company for PC, announces the arrival of its brand new series of motherboards TRX40, ROG Zenith II Extreme, ROG Strix TRX40-E Gaming and Prime TRX40-Pro that implement improvements and new features to help professionals, enthusiasts and gamers alike unleash the full potential of AMD's XNUMXrd Generation Ryzen ™ Threadripper ™ processors.
The new third generation Threadripper CPUs support PCI Express 4.0. The bandwidth is doubled to 64 lanes of PCIe 4.0, thereby improving the performance of SSDs, GPUs and sound cards. The TRX40 series allows you to use up to a maximum of 256 GB of RAM divided into eight slots.
The ROG Zenith II Extreme motherboard is perfect for those who want to make the most of all third generation Threadripper CPU cores and for users who demand extreme OCs of RAM memory. Every single square centimeter of the board in question is built with commendable materials, which allows it to combine performance and design.
The ROG Zenith II Extreme model consists of 16 phases (at this time it is not known whether they are real, in parallel or virtual) VRM, in order to guarantee high performance in OC. ASUS Prime TRX40-Pro also has a full set of fans and liquid cooling headers controllable with Fan Xpert 4. The board also includes an M.2 2230 E-key socket for anyone wishing to add a Wi-Fi module.
