The first images and new details on the next chapter of the series seem to have leaked.
In recent days, several news have been circulating about Battlefield 6, which refer to a large amount of maps, the battle royale mode and the setting. In the last few hours though new information and even two images appear to have leaked.
According to insider Tom Henderson, we might expect that the battle royale mode is a stand alone title published with a different release date and title from that of Battlefield 6. Also, the launch window could take place during 2022, so long after the main chapter launches this fall. In doing so, always according to rumors, EA may grant post-launch support with paid DLC.
EA would focus on developing a competitive multiplayer experience only at a later date, choosing to centralize the work on Battlefield 6, the battle royale and the creation of DLC. As for the sixth chapter of the series developed by DICE, we will see dynamic weather and the day / night cycle, as well as a much more realistic destructibility of environments. The player will be able to destroy entire cities thanks to modern armaments.
According to the words of Tom Henderson, these are real images of Battlefield 6, and it is interesting to underline how the photos partly reflect the previous rumors related to cataclysmic events such as tornadoes and storms that can be seen in the photos leaked online. What is missing from a first teaser?
