Nintendo does not often open up to projects that "never went through" and ourselves, players and enthusiasts, tend to focus more on huge successes of the Japanese house, from Breath of the Wild to Super Mario Odyssey, and beyond.
He is in fact the ex-president of Nintendo of America Reggie fils-aime to reveal the brief path of a game concept proposed by music star Kanye West.
The first meeting took place during an E3, several years ago. West visited Nintendo's Booth and spent some time with Miyamoto; shortly thereafter he arranged a meeting with me at his offices in Calabas (California).
Apparently West wanted to experiment with the video game medium and wanted to do so by collaborating with Nintendo.
There were so many projects going on, too many to carve out a space to work with Kanye, so I had to elegantly decline the proposal.
Reggie explains that the meeting was interesting and that Kim Kardashian-West was also present.
Kanye has an absurd passion for the world of video games, he is a born creator.
It is not the only time that Kanye has "wet his feet" in the videogame ocean; there was in fact a project called "Only one"Which was still talked about in 2015, a title of which nothing has been known.
