The LinkedIn profile of the firm's CTO indicates the extent of the project.
There has been a lot of talk lately about Bluepoint Games. The success of its remake works, in particular of the latest much talked about Demon's Souls for PlayStation 5, has made it one of the most appreciated and promising software houses in the current panorama, so much to stir the interest of Sony which, according to rumors, would have set in motion to carry out the acquisition.
Well, the LinkedIn profile of Peter Dalton, CTO of Bluepoint, has made it clear that the studio is working on an unannounced PlayStation 5 title that, quoting verbatim, "would push the limits of what Bluepoint Games is capable of".
It is certainly not unexpected that the studio is working on a new project, given that the release of Demon's Souls has already taken place a few months ago. But what makes the news attractive is the announced grandeur of the project which once again demonstrates how much Bluepoint is constantly growing and well regarded within the sector.
Whether it's a prestige remake like Metal Gear Solid or Silent Hill? Or a completely new project? Unfortunately there are no further rumors about it. We just have to wait for an official announcement that, we hope, will not make us wait too long.
