Hope had been kindled, but it was soon stifled for the third installment of Gearbox.
Recently Nintendo Switch also appeared on the Borderlands 3 PEGI page. The image of Borderlands 3: Director's Cut, yet another DLC, playable on the Nintendo hybrid along with the base title soon made its way into the thoughts of the players, who imagined it to work with the cloud like other games like Control.
Unfortunately came the denial of a spokesman 2K from a GameSpot editor, and the page on the PEGI website no longer carries any mention of the console. It is reasonable to think that the only chapter related to the Gearbox series on Switch will therefore remain Tales of the Borderlands, and that there are no plans to bring the others to the court of the great N.
Borderlands 3 is not coming to Switch, per a convo I just had with a 2K rep
