It seems that by now in Redmond we have got a taste for advertising via Twitter and it could be the turn of Control Ultimate Edition with the arrival on Xbox Game Pass, as it recently happened with DOOM: Eternal which is available from October 1st on Microsoft's subscription service.
The official Xbox Game Pass account has in fact posted a screenshot related to an email from Melissa McGamepass which refers to a new title arriving in the catalog with a big clue: "that's why I entered that .gif with that sinister red light ".
Honestly we have no idea what gif or sinister red light Melissa is referring to pic.twitter.com/QaOK7jZNkM

The .gif was not shown but then, why would this clue point to Control Ultimate Edition? Simply because the notalities of red and orange represent Hiss, the supernatural force against which Jess will be confronted throughout the title. When there was the tweet about Doom: Eternal a tease was discovered by reversing the colors of the message but this time Microsoft wanted to deepen the mystery by inserting a small provocation, already discovered by a Twitter user by inverting, once again, the colors of the screenshot: Did you really think we would put the tease here again?
Certainly the title may not be Control Ultimate Edition, the version of the Remedy Entertainment title that includes all DLCs and the future next-gen update of the title, but Microsoft is undoubtedly adopting an interesting marketing strategy and we can't wait to see what it has in store for players.
