CD Projekt RED mentioned the game's persistent absence from the Sony Store and talked about their future.
In the latest financial report by CD Projekt RED, the main argument could only be cyberpunk 2077. In addition to reiterating the desire to improve the game over time, the spokespersons of the Polish studio also spoke of its return to the PlayStation Store and their future beyond the action RPG starring V.
While the team's goal is to improve Cyberpunk 2077, on the other they say they intend to undertake other “high-budget developments” in parallel starting in 2022. To this end, the group is looking for acquisitions and mergers to further expand its workforce. At the moment it is difficult to speculate what the next projects of CD Projekt RED will be, but the statements of the last months seem to lean towards a new episode in the universe of The Witcher.
We also remember that Cyberpunk 2077 has been missing from the PlayStation Store since last December. Despite the various patches, the title has not yet obtained the approval of Sony. The final decision, in fact, is up to the Japanese giant: "We are still in discussion and with each patch the game improves and there are visible improvements, but as we have already said the final decision is entirely up to Sony", said the studio spokesman.
