Not even the time to arrange the first copies on the shelves that Cyberpunk 2077 surpasses the record of concurrent players on Steam: but that's not all, in the presentation trailer there is an alleged secret message concerning the future DLCs. CD Projekt RED apparently confirms the program free content already early next year.
..we will be kicking off our free DLC program in early 2021. Just like with The Witcher 3, expect an assortment of packs to start diving into Night City, with loads of cool stuff that will propel you even further into the world of dark future.
The news may seem almost obvious, but in this second semester that accompanied the launch of the next-gen, in reality everything has been seen, heard and said about the title of the Polish team. What is certain is that, in addition to the half-hidden secret message in the last video, Cyberpunk 2077 has already recorded over a million gamers simultaneously, an absolute record for a single player title (the previous one belonged to Fallout 4 with less than half).
Of course with CD Projekt's new RPG available on GOG, Epic, GeForce Now and Stadia, as well as on consoles, the real number of people exploring Night City will be even higher. Not to mention those who also watch it on Twitch.
In the meantime, and the news is good for everyone, the offers have already begun. Great is the expectation for the reviews that are coming from all over the world, and obviously stay tuned because very soon on these pages you will also know the opinion of Epic Videogames Guide on the CDPR blockbuster.
