After the acquisition of the ZeniMax group - which includes Id Software, Bethesda, Tango Gameworks, MachineGames and Arkane Studios - by Microsoft, many users have wondered what would happen to the exclusive thunderstorms planned on PlayStation 5.
Titles like Deathloop and GhostWire: Tokyo, developed by Arkane Studios and Tango Gameworks respectively, were supposed to be temporarily tied to PS5 and no one had foreseen Microsoft's move. Jason Schreier, a Bloomberg reporter, revealed that Phil Spencer assured that Microsoft has no intention of canceling the previous software house agreements.
To answer the question everyone is asking: Phil Spencer tells @dinabass that Xbox plans to honor the PS5 exclusivity commitment for Deathloop and Ghostwire: Tokyo.
Future Bethesda games will be on Xbox, PC, and "other consoles on a case by case basis." https://t.co/Agyttr53LO

This means that Deathloop and Ghostwire: Tokyo will remain time-exclusive for PS5 and, only after that, can they be released on other platforms. Clearly Microsoft would find itself selling two products on the Sony console that, in fact, now belong to it and it is certainly a new situation for the sector.
As for the two exclusives, however, we must remember that Deathloop has been postponed to spring 2021 while Ghostwire: Tokyo is scheduled for the same year, despite not having a launch window.
