David Springate, Dirt 5 technical director, revealed in a recent interview how easy it is to bring and develop games to the Xbox Series S.
Springate has in fact expressed its appreciation towards Microsoft praising in particular the simplicity of developing a game on their new console.
Xbox Series S, in fact, allows you to access cross-gen and next-gen titles without any problem. The only trade-off is the graphics detail: if Xbox Series X hits 4K, Xbox Series S will hit 1440p max.
In addition, the Xbox Series S has less RAM capacity, but this, according to Springate, did not however create particular difficulties for his team in running Dirt 5 with (almost) next-gen performance.
Finally, remember that Dirt 5 will be a cross-gen title and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC starting from 6 November. On November 10, it will be released on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S and, at an unspecified date, on PlayStation 5 and Google Stadia.
