Free-To-Play lands on Netflix
Free-To-Play, the documentary based on Dota 2, will be coming to Netflix soon. Free-To-Play focuses on "The International“, The first tournament in the world, with millionaire prizes, involving a video game.
Following its success Valve decided to create a documentary based on the story of 3 veterans of Dota 2, showcasing both their successes and their failures within the tournament. The three characters have very different stories from each other: a longtime player who leaves home to compete, a prodigy from Singapore and a Dota 2 fanatic who has to face his own inner battles. The documentary was already released some time ago, becoming a source of inspiration for many Dota 2 players. Free-To-Play in fact was released on March 19, 2014 on Youtube but Valve has decided to bring it also on Netflix following the success of the anime (Dragon Blood) based on the game.
