Well yes, Dragon Age 4 will make an appearance (finally, we say) during The Game Awards 2020 which will start on 11 December at 01.00. To announce it was Geoff Keighley with a post on Twitter, where he writes that the game will receive special attention during the event.

We remember that the game was first announced in 2018 by BioWare and EA with a teaser trailer right during The Game Awards. After the announcement, updates on the highly anticipated RPG title have always been quite scarce until July of this year, when BioWare reassured fans by announcing that the development of Dragon Age 4 was progressing smoothly. A little over a month later the developer house released a handful of new details along with some development footage.
According to information leaked to date, it appears that Dragon Age 4 was built on the basis of the Anthem code and that the main path of the title will be focused exclusively on the single player. It is still unclear how BioWare wants to implement a possible multiplayer component.
Recall that executive producer Mark Darrah together with general manager Casey Hudson recently left BioWare, but work on Dragon Age 4, the studio assured, will proceed and are proceeding nonstop. Development will now be led by studio head Christian Dailey alongside Matthew Goldman in the role of creative director.
Recall that for now Dragon Age 4 does not have any official launch window and moreover it is not yet clear if the name of the game will be just that. In any case, EA has warned fans that the release of the game is still a long way off, in fact we will have to wait until at least April 2022.
