Square Enix has announced that it has released a demo of Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Final Edition for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on Steam.
The demo showcases new features and enhancements specific to the Final Edition, including the ability to speed up combat, audio in English and Japanese, the symphonic soundtrack and a Photo Mode to capture the beautiful scenery. This content is but a small part of the full game, offering new character stories, an improved creation system, and an option to play the entire 2D title like the classic Dragon Quest.
The progress made in the demo can be carried over to the full game, due out on December 4, 2020. As an added bonus, those who complete the main scenario of the demo will get three "skill seeds", which when consumed each grant an extra skill point that can be used both in the demo, and after deciding to continue the adventure in the full game.
Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Final Edition will be available for relevant platforms and on the Epic Games Store from December 4 2020.
