During the 2020 The Game Awards ceremony, Amplitude Studios announced its new title: Endless dungeon.
This is a tactical action roguelite set in the same Endless Universe seen in Dungeon of the Endless.
Following a shipwreck on a space station, we will have to recruit a team of heroes and protect our crystal from an endless wave of monsters.
Fans of Dungeon of the Endless may ask themselves a few questions, such as: “A shipwreck? Again? Is it a sequel? ”. The answer is both yes and no, the details have not yet been clarified.
In the meantime, though, here's a list of what you can expect:
- A brand new story set in the Endless Universe: a space station abandoned long ago. Some say that it has been in this state for decades ... but it's up to you to find out what is happening and how (or if) you can escape ...
- Open the doors to new avenues for the roguelite genre: behind every door there is something new, dangerous, and different. But if you have the right turrets, you wield the right weapons according to the enemies, in short, you can get away with it and survive, maybe… and open another door.
- Recruit Your Suicide Squad: Gather your group of adventurers from a roster of very unique characters and find out how to get to the center of the station still whole. You can lead your squad on your own, or test your survival spirit with friends in multiplayer!
- A crystal is forever: always make sure the crystal is as healthy as… a rock. For this reason, always carry it with you and you will have to defend it at all costs.
