8 December: mark it on your calendar.
Square Enix has revealed that Final Fantasy XIV will receive the wait on that date patch 5.4, which will coincide with the release of the next, highly anticipated chapter of the MMORPG.
This update will introduce some quests which will be the prelude to the not-yet-announced, yet another expansion of the massively online role-playing title.
A new raid dungeon (Eden's Promise), which will be part of the Eden Verse raid series that appeared at the end of Shadowbringers.
Another dungeon, called Matoya's Relict, would appear to be in the home straight, along with a new trial, Castrum Marinum.
Finally, The Sorrow of Werlyt will be one new mission that will continue the events narrated as part of the imperial war machine development project.
Final Fantasy XIV, in short words, he just doesn't want to give way: after a decidedly uncertain start, it seems to never stop.
And you, what do you think? Is Final Fantasy XIV still perpetually at the top of your playlist?
