Gears 5, last chapter of the homonymous signed third person shooter saga The Coalition , since its arrival on Xbox One and Microsoft Windows PC continued to receive support and new content. To be included among the latter, in addition to the recent update that has also brought it to new generation consoles Xbox Series X and S , there will also be a DLC with expected arrival during the month of December.
The latter, whose arrival was only recently announced - and surprisingly - via an extremely cinematic trailer, will bear the name of Hivebusters and will be completely dedicated to the latter.
The additional content coming for Gears 5 will expand the already vast experience offered by the game by adding a cooperative mode for three players, similar to the Escape mode.
The DLC will also add new achievements and the ability to use Ultimate abilities, for the first time, in a campaign in history.
At the base of the additional downloadable content there will be the story of the Hivebusters, a group of characters already introduced in the Escape multiplayer mode and whose stories will be told in a small autonomous campaign. The latter, lasting about 3 hours, will go not only to address the events of the group, but also to introduce a new enemy.
The next content dedicated to the last chapter of the franchise signed by the team of The Coalition will be available for all platforms, too Xbox Series X / S and PC , from 18th December .
All owners of Game Pass Ultimate , a subscription designed to allow all gamers to play their favorite titles on both consoles of the series Xbox both Windows 10 PC, smartphone and tablet , they will automatically get the DLC , already included in the service.
