The MiHoYo development studio has finally released its latest title called Genshin Impact; it is a game currently released on PlayStation 4, PC and mobile devices (Android and iOS), and entirely free to play. A version for the Nintendo Switch has also already been announced but will only be released later. The MiHoYo team has been working for three and a half years on the creation of this game e has already met with considerable success among the public, there are in fact 10 million pre-registered users across all platforms.
It is a title that visually is very reminiscent of The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild (thanks to its cell shading graphics), combining characters in full anime style. All within a vast open world entirely explorable and with different playable characters; both elements that, as already announced by the developers, will be enriched over time with several free updates. These updates will also incorporate some seasonal events to enhance the overall playability of the title. Below you will find a brief description of Genshin Impact provided by the developers:
With Geshin Impact, players will be able to explore the magnificent world of Teyvat, a land controlled by seven gods called Archons. Players will play the role of the mysterious "Traveler", who will embark on a journey to discover the fate of our lost twin, while unveiling the mysteries of this world. During this journey you will explore a world made up of different cultures and biomes, play with more than 20 characters, learn the art of elemental combat and exploration.
From today's launch date, two of Tevyat's largest cities will be available, namely Mondstadt and Liyue Harbor, both with different cultures and environments (in terms of creatures, monsters, treasures and secrets). Finally we inform you that the entire title will have two important characteristics between the various platforms, let's talk about cross-play and cross-progression. In the first case, users of each platform will be able to invite players from different devices to play cooperatively, while in the second it will be possible to connect the account, for example, between iOS and PC while maintaining progress in switching from one to the other (but unfortunately this feature is not available on PS4).
