God of War: Fallen God, the signed comic miniseries Dark Horse Comics long awaited by fans of the videogame franchise of Santa Monica Studio, finally has a release date.
The short series will have the task of filling, through drawings on paper, the period following the events on which it is based God of War 3, title landed in 2010 on consoles Sony PlayStation 3. Following the end of the third chapter - sixth in chronological order - and the defeat of the gods of Greek mythology by Kratos, in fact, video games have left a void, then turning our gaze to a subsequent period, with a completely different setting from the previous one.
Within the few numbers of the series, the path that led Kratos to confront himself with the latter and with Norse mythology, whose divinities and traditions have ended up representing the real protagonists of the last chapter of the videogame series, will also be shown .
Dark Horse, as well as providing these details on the plot of the short comic miniseries Fall God, announced the date set for the release of the first issue, scheduled for March 10. At the moment, in addition to the initial release, the company did not want to reveal further details on the series, leaving the mystery also on the actual amount of the releases and their cost.
A similar announcement certainly brings attention back to the series God of War whose latest chapter, released in 2018 for consoles Sony PlayStation 4, has left you speechless both from a narrative and gameplay point of view. The events on which the latter is based should in fact soon continue within a new title of the saga which, entitled Ragnarok, is expected to be released in 2021.
The release of the comic miniseries could therefore represent a clue or an opening of the curtain precisely for the arrival of the next chapter but, at the moment, there is no sure news regarding this possibility.
