Halo Infinite, new chapter of the homonymous first-person shooter series signed Bungie studios and hardware exclusive Microsoft products, it could be distributed in a fragmented way. This was announced in an interview Phil Spencer, Head of Xbox.
The boss did not provide any particular details regarding the title after the announcement of his arrival on Xbox Series X, remained shrouded in a veil of fog and mystery, making people talk about themselves only through rumors and clues. In response to the question regarding the release of the title, for example, Spencer said that he has already been able to play the new chapter, but that he has no updates to provide to the public about it.
Speaking of the ways in which the title would land on the expected hardware, the head of the company was equally mysterious, and did not release precise information. In this sense he instead affirmed as the current head of the franchise Bonnie Ross and the team currently working behind it Halo Infinite have every intention of providing a certain type of experience to players, and how it is therefore a viable alternative to release content separately.
According to the words of Spencer himself, therefore, the decision to publish the game campaign and the multiplayer mode separately would not seem to be directly under his control, but more a decision of the development team.
