Interactive spells are certainly one of the best features in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. In addition to being fun, these spells are vital for tackling the toughest challenges. However, mastering them requires a bit of skill and above all timing. In this short guide we will explain how spells work.
As you know, to cast these spells you will need to draw symbols with your finger on the screen, and you will need to be precise to make the most of the power of the spell. However, what is not fully explained is that the precision with which the player draws the symbol is not everything. Indeed, the speed with which the symbol is drawn will also matter a lot. The shorter the time, the greater the effectiveness of the spell, which could reach the “Masterful” power.
The results of the spell cast are as follows, ordered from the strongest to the weakest.
- Masterful
- Great
- Good
- Fair
In reality, it is essential to be as fast as possible, so our advice is to draw the line on the display as quickly as possible, even at the cost of not being able to trace the symbol to maximum precision. It also appears that while most spells prioritize haste to be more powerful, there are still some exceptions, such as Flippendo, which seems to prioritize accuracy rather than haste. The trick is, basically, find the right compromise between the two, perhaps opting more for speed.
