To overcome in a short time and without major difficulties the most complex activities of Destiny 2 it is certainly a wish of many. So here's how to best equip yourself to overcome the new Destiny 2 raid.
With the DLC The Maldition of Osiris, Bungie introduced the raid lair: Eater of Worlds, here's how to best deal with it. In this article we will offer you two different weapon setups that will allow you to calmly face all the enemies that stand between you and victory, maximizing the damage in the case of large enemies or the boss and using the least number of clips for the most little ones. In any case, we would like to emphasize how these setups are effective starting from a minimum light level of 325.
PRIMARY WEAPON
SETUP 1: Good Devil (hand cannon). With two hits it will allow you to melt smaller enemies like Goblins and Hobgoblins.
SETUP 2: History of Origins (automatic rifle). Thanks to its perks, this automatic rifle will increase exponentially in your damage dealt with increasing kills, it goes without saying that in a raid full of enemies it is very useful.
Destiny familiars will wonder why we didn't recommend a scout rifle as a primary; in our opinion rifles such as the Midnight with no name they are very useful in raids like the basic Leviathan, but not in this one. The conformation of the environment, especially when facing the boss, and the mechanics of the skulls often force the player to use the primary weapons quickly and without aiming to manage more enemies. In these situations, in our opinion, the scout rifles lose their effectiveness.
ENERGETIC WEAPON
SETUP 1 and 2: Icy Heart (laser rifle). It's Destiny 2's Gjallarhorn - the must-have weapon to melt any boss. It must be used by all six (even five is fine) squad members to maximize damage to a single enemy. You've already figured out it's the weapon to use in the boss damage phase.
We do not feel at the moment to recommend other weapons. The Lens of Prometheus (sister of the Frostheart with solar damage) loses, due to the width of the radius, a small portion of damage in single targets. Weapons like the Gift of Uriel etc, are in our opinion more useful in other circumstances than the raid.
DESTRUCTIVE WEAPON
SETUP 1: Sipario o Sins of the past (rocket launcher). These two rocket launchers are essential in an aggressive approach. Both with the perk: Cluster Bombs, cause massive damage. Once you have finished the load of the Icy Heart avoid reloading and use your rocket launcher to bring that right touch of "Michael Bay" in your raid.
SETUP 2: Lonely God (sniper rifle). It is a very rare weapon to drop at the end of the normal raid the Leviathan. It is the first alternative to rocket launchers given the high impact and the Triple Strike perk. With the unique Instant Aim perk and its good stability it could be your first choice in case you have dropped it.
Destiny 2 is available from September 6 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and from October 24 for PC. While the first DLC: The Curse of Osiris is available from December 5th.
