The gunslingers' mission is to track down, take photos and often face off against some famous characters from the world of Red Dead Redemption 2.
The mission can be started by visiting a secondary saloon of Valentine, the first city in the game. Speaking to a writer, we will be asked to track down a group of gunslingers and return with a photograph of them and stories from their glory days.
We will be given photos that we can review to add the location of our targets to the map. These will be given to us in groups of four and can be met in any order, but there are a couple of factors to keep in mind. First, most of the characters we will have to meet will not be very happy with our presence e often the mission will end with a shooting. Second, some of the rewards obtained during the mission are very useful and could make life easier during the following ones. For this, it is advisable to follow the order shown below.
Emmet Granger
You will find the man near Flat Iron Lake. After talking to him, you'll have to clean four piles of pig dung for him. Once this is done it will be possible to challenge him to a duel. We will have to hit him before he throws his knife at us, after which it will be enough to take a picture of the corpse.
Billy Midnight
Billy lives as a recluse, hiding near the Rhodes Train Station. Speaking with the stationmaster we will be put on a train that will take us to our target. We will have to chase him first and then face him in a duel on the roof of the carriages. By defeating him it will be possible to obtain his gun as a reward, without forgetting to take a photo.
Black Belle
Black Belle is located not far from Rhodes, at Blackwater Marsh. Once there, our task will be to help her defend herself from some waves of bounty hunters. There are explosive charges that will come in handy, but it is advisable to use them against the gatling-wielding enemies that will arrive. After that, we take a photo of Belle and the mission will be over. We will be able to examine the bodies and, if desired, enter Belle's hut to retrieve a Cigarette card.
Flaco Fernandez
The last of the targets is found with a group of assassins and it is recommended to arm yourself accordingly. It is located in the area of Grizzlies, camped near a frozen lake. Carefully you can move silently to eliminate unsuspecting group members one at a time, and then move on to Flaco. Retrieved his revolver and taken a photo, in his cabin you can find a Cigarette card and one map of Treasure.
