Shenmue is a vast title that hides many secrets inside, let's see how to discover them:
70 Person Battle
Once the game is over, wait for the credits to finish and save. From the start menu go to Options and you can access the 70 Person Battle mode.
Real time of the 1986 Yokosuka
Once the game is over, wait for the credits to finish and save. From the start menu go to Options and you can access the Magic Weather option.
Endless working days / Yen gain
On the third day of work, when you transport crates to Warehouse # 3, you will then have to go and check Warehouse # 17 after work. Simply, if you don't go to warehouse 17, you can keep repeating the same work day until you decide to advance in history. A great way to scrape together a few extra yen.
Listen to cassettes without using batteries
Go to Tom's Hot Dogs van in Dobuita or the harbor and check out the cassette stereo. You will now be able to listen to your music collection without using batteries.
Also Shenmue II presents several interesting tricks:
Negative / alternative ending
To get the negative / alternate ending you will have to play the title until June 31, 1987 (not a mistake). At the end of the day Ryo will go to sleep and you will see the ending. A good way to speed up time progress is to keep failing in the QTE at Zhangyu's Barber.
Free rent
Leave Come Over Guest House without paying. So stay out until 23pm.
Video of the Shenmue version for Saturn
Finish the game and after the credits, you can watch a video of Shenmue related to the times it was in development for Sega Saturn, that is, before it was moved to Dreamcast.
