The important milestone was made official on Twitter.
It Takes Two, the cooperative platform adventure directed by Josef Fares, it has been out just under a month and is already a huge sales success.
The Swedish software house Hazelight Studios has made official on Twitter the achievement of the first million copies sold, tweet later taken up by Fares with the following words:
This shows that there are players who want cooperative-only titles. Thanks everyone and I hope we will see more games like this
Hazelight Studios had already shown that they know how to deal with cooperative works thanks to her previous work: A Way Out. Now that It Takes Two has proved to be such a success, it is to be expected that, as Fares wishes, we will see many other titles of the same genre appear.
Electronic Arts will certainly be happy to have released a much-appreciated title and we can assume that its future support for Hazelight Studios will not be lacking.
For now we can only congratulate the studio for this great success.
