The well-known fast-food chain KFC takes the field by presenting its machine called KFConsole, to all intents and purposes a mini PC through which you can play and reheat the chicken. Whether it's a publicity stunt or not, KFC has actually followed up on the trailer for its "console", announced in June, stating that the console war is over and there is none for anyone, PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X.

The black and red design platform is talked about especially for its compartment to insert some chicken legs and reheat them during the loading screens, of course, but its technical characteristics are not to be underestimated. KFC has in fact made an alliance with Cooler Master, high-sounding name in PC components to offer a 4K, 240 FPS and VR ready machine.
The heart of the KFConsole is a small but pulsating Intel Nuc 9 Extreme Compute Element, supported by a 1TB Seagate SSD, ordinance ray tracing, and a replaceable Nvidia graphics card (GPU) - first of its kind, according to the official description. Mark Cheevers, head of the marketing division, presented the console as follows:
The console war is tenacious, but we are very confident about the KFConsole. He is capable of starting games to their full potential and at the same time keeping your meal warm… how can you not like it? If Sony and Microsoft want advice on how to design a chicken chamber in the future they can contact us.
The date and price are not known (or if it will really come out), but in the meantime it is possible to observe the KFConsole in all its splendor, the icing on the cake of an unfortunately unforgettable year. The chain founded by Colonel Sanders has come a long way and now the Kentucky Fried Chicken - face, or rather, thigh of the company - is said to be ready to accompany the cold gaming evenings with the compartment created ad hoc by Cooler Master (here the features).
