The Sorcerer's Ring is a key item that often appears in the JRPG Tales Of series. Often it is essential to use it to activate mechanismi, but also to stun enemies before starting a fight. In Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition, this item can level up. For plot reasons, the Sorcerer's Ring will reach level 3, yet it is possible to further expand its potential up to level 5.
In this guide, in which there will be small spoilers, we explain how.
First, you'll need to reach the final stages of the storyline. In this case, you must have obtained the 4 elemental spirits Efreet, Undine, Gnome and Sylph. When the final dungeon appears in front of you you can start this short side-quest.
Head to Myorzo, the city of Kritya that randomly floats around the World Map and continue to the Myorzo elder's house where you will witness an event: Yuri will receive the Abission, a demonic sword. The elder finally informs the group that six other demonic weapons lie hidden for Terca Lumireis. During your hours of play, especially in flight with Ba'ul, you have surely noticed that there are several ruins scattered around the map, and if you have tried to enter it you will notice that it is impossible to continue.
But now that you have the Abission, just head to the pile of ruins that is slightly south-east of Nordapolica to continue. Approach the impassable rock pile and Yuri's Abission will respond to the call of another demonic weapon, a spear for Judith.
After the scene, you can go inside the quarry. Resist the temptation to enter the dungeon in front of you and swerve left until you reach a block of yellow Air Krene. An event will take place and after Rita's explanations, your Sorcerer's Ring will reach level 4.
You are one step away from having the Sorcerer Ring at maximum level. Go to another of the quarries scattered around the World Map (it doesn't matter which one) and destroy the mounds thanks to the Sorcerer's Ring LV 4. You will find yourself inside a quarry very similar to the previous one, reach another block of Air Krene and witness one last scene to take the ring to the maximum.
With the Sorcerer's Ring at level 5, you will be able to break any rock and burn any grass-type obstacles that have so far prevented you from reaching certain places located inside the dungeons. Thanks to the true potential of the ring, you will be able to complete most of the other side-quests present in Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition, such as the search for the 7 demonic weapons and the hunt for the Giant Monsters scattered around Terca Lumireis.
