2K Games and Hangar 13 have just released the first post-launch update of Mafia: Definitive Edition, a title that - as we pointed out in our review - is of excellent workmanship despite, just like other games, offers the side of some bugs and graphic glitches. The update released by the developers fixes several bugs encountered by users, in particular the bug that made it impossible to save some vehicles in the garage but also the bug in the killings animations and the one that made the screen black in the cut scenes.
Thanks to this update, in Mafia: Definitive Edition, settings have been added to customize the HUD and Noir Mode. As for the HUD, players will now be able to choose to enable or disable the mission objective indicator and enemy indicators on the map. You can also decide whether to show navigation directions on the map and the minimum HUD option can be activated, which will hide the speedometer, minimap and mission indicators.
The Noir Mode is instead a purely aesthetic addition. By activating this option, in the game settings menu, the cutscenes and game scenes will be entirely black and white. Recall that the first post launch update of Mafia: Definitive Edition can already be downloaded on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
