It will have happened to anyone, sooner or later, to buy a title and find it a few days later in the free games lists with Xbox Live Gold or PS Plus and that's exactly what happened to PlayStation 5 users who recently bought Maneater.
Sony, in fact, has unveiled - as usual - the titles that can be downloaded for free by PlayStation Plus subscribers and, among those of January, there is Maneater. The title is available very recently on the new generation console and The Japanese company has therefore decided to offer refunds to players who have purchased the game. Furthermore, according to a Reddit user, the players who will be refunded should not lose access to the game even when they no longer have an active subscription.
Sony has already made refunds, but it's unclear whether this is a new company policy or a simple way to remedy a situation that would surely have displeased affected players. We remember that Maneater is currently available on all platforms.
