The rumor about the arrival of some historical IP of Konami on PC is becoming more and more insistent and it is known that the classification of a game is often an indication of a nearby release of the title itself.

The Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee would have classified Metal Gear, Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance and Konami Collector's Series: Castlevania and Contra for PC.

The first historical Metal Gear, released in 1987 for MSX 2, marked not only the beginning of one of the most famous sagas of the videogame scene, but also the beginning of Hideo Kojima's career.

The first two Metal Gear Solids, however, proved to the world that a complex script and, at the same time, a layered and fun gameplay could coexist within a video game.

The Konami Collector's Series should instead contain the following games: Castlevania, Castlevania II: Simon's Quest, Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse, Contra and, finally, Super Contra.

Even for these titles, it is useless to discuss the historical value they possess. Castlevania, together with Metroid, has in fact created a genre: Metroidvania. Contra, on the other hand, was one of the first scrolling shooters to enjoy great success.
