Any player will have come across at least once in one of the chapters of Rayman or in Beyond Good & Evil, titles that have marked the last thirty years of videogame history. The works of Michel Ancel, in fact, have always been characterized by a colorful and strongly inspired style, able to accompany Ubisoft all these years.
Now, however, Ancel has decided to terminate his working with the French multinational but also with the collective of developers he founded, Wild Sheep Studio. By announcing the decision via an Internet post, Ancel wanted to reassure fans of his video games as well as give them some explanations. The reason why the creator of Rayman, Beyond Good & Evil and Rabbids has decided to leave the gaming industry is that he wants to devote himself entirely to Wild Life. The latter is a real sanctuary dedicated to education and lovers of nature and wild animals.
Michel then explained that the projects currently in development Wild and Beyond Good & Evil 2 will be completed by their respective teams and will not be affected by his farewell to the industry. At this point, therefore, all we need to do is wait for new news from Wild Sheep Studio and Ubisoft to know where the works are.
