All missions take place on the map Jurassic frontier:
Mow the fern! (key mission)
Main Objective: Deliver 8 Special Ferns (Reward: 300z)
Secondary Objective: Deliver 10 Special Mushrooms (Reward: 600z)
Time limit: 50 minutes
Map: Jurassic frontier
The first quest for hunters. You don't have to kill any monsters but just collect 8 special ferns, which can be found in abundance in Areas 1 and 2 (they are also found in Area 4).
Ferns are collected from plants. The mushrooms required for the secondary objective can be collected at all mushroom collection points on the map.
Once the objects have been collected, return to Area 1 and deliver them via the red box.
Ambradrago at home
Main objective: Deliver 3 pieces of ambradrago (Reward: 300z)
Secondary Objective: Deliver 2 Fossil Bones (Reward: 300z)
Time limit: 50 minutes
Map: Jurassic frontier
Get the Old Pickaxe from the blue box in Area 1. Go to Area 3 and use the Old Pickaxe on the rock spots to find pieces of Ambradrago. If you can't find 3, go to Area 7.
The fossil bones for the secondary objective can be found by searching the bones occasionally scattered throughout the Areas.
Once the objects have been collected, return to Area 1 and deliver them via the red box.
Medicinal moths
Main Objective: Deliver 3 Eternal Moths (Reward: 300z)
Secondary Objective: Kill 3 Bnahabra (Reward: 300z)
Time limit: 50 minutes
Map: Jurassic frontier
Get the Bug Net from the blue box in Area 1. Go to Area 7 to find the Eternal Moths (use the Bug Net to catch them from spots where a butterfly appears). Watch out for Maccao monsters in the area.
The Bnahabra for the secondary objective can be found in Area 3 (they are the flying insects).
Once the objects have been collected, return to Area 1 and deliver them via the red box.
One horn a day
Main Objective: Deliver 3 Kelbi's Horns (Reward: 300z)
Secondary Objective: Deliver a White Liver (Reward: 300z)
Time limit: 50 minutes
Map: Jurassic frontier
Kelbi are fawn-like creatures, they can be found in Areas 2 and 5. To get horns, just stun (with a couple of hits) a Kelbi and pull out his horns. ATTENTION: focus on one Kelbi at a time, because the stun doesn't last long and if you don't take advantage of it, the Kelbi will escape.
The White Liver for the secondary objective can also be found on a Kelbi.
Once the objects have been collected, return to Area 1 and deliver them via the red box.
Fungal hunting (key mission)
Prerequisites: Complete Mow the Fern mission!
Main Objective: Deliver 5 Abyssal Mushrooms (Reward: 300z)
Secondary objective: -
Time limit: 50 minutes
Map: Jurassic frontier
You will find Abyssal Mushrooms in Areas 9, 10 and 11.
Once the objects have been collected, return to Area 1 and deliver them via the red box.
A blow to the Maccao! (key mission)
Main objective: Kill 10 Maccaos
Secondary objective: -
Time limit: 50 minutes
Map: Jurassic frontier
You will find all the Maccaos you want in Areas 3, 4 and 5. Once they are eliminated you can wait for them to return to the Area. After killing 10, the mission will automatically end.
Remember to collect the items from the Maccao bodies.
The revenge of my lady (key mission)
Main Objective: Kill 10 Jaggi
Secondary objective: -
Time limit: 50 minutes
Map: Jurassic frontier
Mission identical to the previous one, only you have to kill the Jaggi (Areas 3 and 5). Once they are eliminated you can wait for them to return to the Area. After killing 10, the mission will automatically end.
Remember to collect items from Jaggi bodies.
Once all the key missions have been completed, the urgent mission will be unlocked, completing which you will have access to the 2-star Village missions.
Agile Outlaw - URGENT
Main Objective: Hunt a Great Maccao (Reward: 900z)
Contract fee: 100z
Secondary Objective: Kill 5 Maccao (Reward: 600z)
Time limit: 50 minutes
Map: Jurassic frontier
First real Hunt mission! The Great Maccao (bigger and more evil version of the Maccao), is located in Area 5. As with all the big monsters in the game, when you enter the Area, an introductory cinematic introducing the monster will be activated.
There will also be other Maccaos in the Area, but focus only on the Great Maccao (killing him will probably kill the other Maccaos for the secondary mission as well).
When the Gran Maccao is hungry he will change zones and go to Area 2, to sleep he will go to Area 8.
The battle also depends on the armor you have and the weapon you use, in general it is good to remember to immediately throw a Paint Ball at him to trace his movements and to take a support pole with you.
Some advices:
Attack while waiting for the best moment: when it howls for example, or as soon as an attack has finished.
When the Great Maccao gets on its tail, get ready to dodge its charge.
If you have not killed him before Area 8 (where he will go to sleep to recover energy), you can use one or more Barrel Bombs gr. to eliminate it quickly (place the barrel where it is sleeping and hit it to make it explode, remembering that it will damage you too).
The Great Maccao is the first large monster you will encounter, so it is relatively simple and any hunting style is fine, but avoid Shadow, as you won't have many opportunities to counter its attacks.
Once the Great Maccao is killed the mission will end automatically, remember to retrieve all the available items from his body.
